Got this done today:

Still waiting for a black 60mm GReddy oil temp gauge, which will fill up that hole where the dimmer used to be. I ran all the wires through the firewall already. The boost gague is functional, but only readys vacuum of course until the turbo goes in. The fuel pressure gauge is functioning now as well.

Commence, Teg turbo install

Well I started the turbo install today.... Have a few problems that I have to solve first. More stuff I had to order to include a slim radiator fan the will be a pusher (mounted on the front of the radiator instead of back). I was planning on pulling of the head off to install the blockguard and cometic head gasket but my buddy could not make it on time. I got excited so I started test fitting the turbo itself. The biggest problem is the turbo and manifold. My manifold will not flange flushed against the exhaust port because of the manifold itself seems a bit too short for a T4 compressor. The compressor is already against the block even after shaving a small area of it. I do have a solution. In order for me to make the set up fit, I will have to "sandwich" another exhaust flange in between the turbo manifold and the exhaust port. This will push the turbo assembly away from the block about 1/2 inch and have about 3/8 inch clearance. Of course I will also have to upgrade to a longer studs/bolts. I didnt wnat to take a picture until I fix the problem. It's all good tho. I already ordered the stuff I need to fix my problem. This is another week set-back which I really dont mind. i dont want to rush into this and mess up the whole set-up. I'm being patient. Pics to come soon.

In the mean time, friends are always stopping by all the time. I'm mostly doing all this by myself. Alot of people just watch but are willing to lend a hand if needed.......

lol.....

Major change of plans. I've decided to do it right. I'm confident on tearing B-series engines apart now. So this is what I plan to do:
-Leave the internals stock for a few months and boost 8 psi with a tuned Hondata S200b. I'm gonna shit can the 3mm headgasket and block guard idea and do it right. I've decided to save up and build the engine up with eagle rods and wiseco pistons......and possibly resleeve it. I know that with the help of a few close friends, we can do the build-up our own...except the sleeving part. I want to max out my turbo and kick my HP goal to 450-500HP by next winter at the latest.... next summer. My suspension is blown, so the Tein SS still must go in. I think it just all depends on what my financial status after buying my house. It will be worth the wait....that I'm sure of.....

He he he.... i just may. Toss a fine ass girl with that 12 pack and I just might drive up there.... lol

Turbo Teg Update:
-The engine is pretty much put together on stock form. I installed and connected most of my GReddy gauges. The GReddy oil filter "sandwich" made it all easy for me to get some of my sensors rigged. I installed the RC 550cc saturated injectors which pretty much included the OBD1 injector clip conversion. Walbro255 LPH is in place as well. The new slim 16" radiator came in. I installed it and rigged it act as a "pusher". So now, I have a big ass radiator fan in front of the full Fluidyne radiator. Waiting for another B-series exhaust flange to get the manifold installed. Come Friday, I will go ahead get the intercooler brackets welded. Then the pipe fitting will commence........

I still need to rewire the slim fan for pusher mode
...... and here's my Spearco intercooler. Also, take note that i relocated the power steering cooler by positioning it higher. A few bracket fabrication and a foot long high temp hose did the trick.....

The announcer said it will be open again this weekend biatch

Today was a productive day. The weather was great as well. I finally got the turbo manifold to fit right. The oil line is hooked up and the EGT sensor is in place. I was even able to help out a friend on a Turbo timer and GReddy profec-B spec2 install. Gotta work tomorrow, but Tuesday should mark the beginning of the piping fabrication.... . The new target day is the 15th this month for Hondata tuning and downpipe fabrication.....

Nice work my friend. Custom piping rocks!!! Only if we lived closer, we could race. I'm pretty sure you'd win though, becuase of your full engine build up.

Thanks. I should have the car running by this weekend. I already told my friends that my project comes first. Their cars will have to wait. I'm getting the Hondata base program this week and drive my car to the dyno without a downpipe....lol..... I started painting the piping. I have a busy week. Gotta stay ahead....looking into custom 3 inch exhaust pipes and suspension upgrade. I should be at the track soon.....

bah.... the GReddy gauges put a major hole in my pocket. Thanks tho. My gauges came out close to $1k not to include the profec-b spec II and turbo timer. The whole project have cost me about $4k, if not more. I also found out that my tuner will be out of town for a while. Now I have to find another Hondata dealer to get my base setting..... It's all good tho. By then, my set-up should be fully ready for dyno tuning.....................
