Engine rebuild labor

Does anyone know how much labor would be if I took a GSR engine and all the replacement internals to a shop and had them put the internals in????

Do you know anyone who has done this or anything? Or is that just a estimated guess? I could call some shops up and ask, but I just wanted an idea before I start talking to them.

Can someone resleeve an engine themselves? I know i could do most everything else but I'm not sure what is involved with that. I want to get the Darton kit with a 84mm bore.

i'm not too familiar with resleeving and the equipment that is involved. but with a total internal rebuil for LABOR only can cost between $1000-2000.

I rebuilt my motor myself. The sleeves were fine so I left those alone, but pistons, rings, rods, bearings etc.. you can do at home in your garage. get a helms manual and you should be able to do all the work in a weekend.
