our country's leader Jean Chretien. Just when you thought canada would stay quiet on this issue, I flipped open a newspaper today and found this. A public "letter" to our PM saying how horrible a job he is doing. It cost 7300$ to place this full page ad, hope reads it. I totally agree with this check it out... its 400k

I think that is an extremely well written letter, and I'm glad she had the guts (and money ) to have it published.

If only it were all true....
Bush building a cabinet of unprecedented integrity? Hahahahaa. Where do people come up with this crap? Poor Kurds dying at the hand of Saddam? Perhaps, and I definitely feel for children and any other innocent victims. But what people don't realize is what they'd see if the Kurds had control. These aren't a bunch of American-loving, peaceful, gun-abandoning, anti-violence folks who get along with everybody. America helped bin Laden to go against the Soviets. America helped Saddam to go against Iran. America is now helping the Kurds to go against Saddam....not to mention hunting bin Laden. Strange how things work..... b |

not to mention america among other countries helped saddam fight(if you can call it a fight) against the kurds
http://mondediplo.com/1998/03/04iraqkn be VERY careful who you point the finger at, because it may end up being yourself [edit in] im not sure about canadia law, but in america you have the freedom to express whatever you want in the press, and well, i could write a whole artical about how mexico did this that an the other thing and how they should be doing something about something, and its all false, but i could get it published with eough money. it is funny how when an anti-war protest is going, it is called unpatriotic and how we should support our government under all circumstances or get out of the country. how about the people who think this way get out of america for not believing in the foundation and beliefs of our country. well heres the other end of the stick, now heres a government who dosnt want to mess with burning bridges of diplomacy and attacking a guy who was put into power, armed, and even basicaly given the power to slaughter people, only to later have the same people call him an evil dictator who did inhumane things (which he DID do, its just... we're not guilt free) in america the first amendment gives us 5 rights, the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion, the freedom of press, the freedom of peacful assembly, and the freedom of petition. it seems as though canada has the same rights, so this person is no different than anyone in america who opposes bush.
