here forget that latch idea, this is what i did with mine. i just went and took some pics of it. it's like a bolt with a knob thingy on it like they use on computer chairs to adjust the back. it's just like keeping in the stock bolts but these you can do take it off with your hands. Also, forget there hinge idea, do it like mine also
