granted dating an ugly chick would be hard, but really it should be more about who she is then what she is.

For me its:

-RESPECT
-Trust
-communication
-dependable
-understanding
-caring
-kind
-control of her emtions
-understands herself, otherwise shes never gonna be able to understand me if she doesn't get herself first
-mature (girls who play games make things hard)
-enjoys similar things as me but also has different interests
-complex (most girls are )
-willing to try new things
-has no problem putting a man in his place while still showing respect

And to append the list with a few more of my own:

-honest
-decent dresser
-makes me feel special and feels special herself
-intelligent
-expressive in a controlled manner (i.e. not a ***** about things)
