Eternal Blue with white, definitely. BUT, not with tan.... :( Sorry.

I agree that tan is a hard color to match with other colors. Light tan usually goes pretty well with a taupe color, or more brownish, but it's gotta be the right match.

Maybe you should go with a simulated woodgrain? Haha....now that would be a challenge to paint.
