Well, Nissan Racer, It's not about just being the fastest. My friend's Grandmother has a 5-speed Altima and it is quick, but not everyone has the luxury of going out and buying the quickest car. You take what you got(in my case Civic Ex) and make it what you want. I guarantee you 99.9% of the people here would rather be rolling in a Civic Si than an Altima.


You could go out and buy a junky 5.0 for 4,000 and whoop the shiznit out of your SpecV every day of the week. I know from experience. My 5.0, including fixing things wrong with it, was under 5,500, and I was walking on LS1's every chance I got. Ironic as it might sound, I have been walked on by a 94 Hatch...$4000 + good source for parts + do it yourself labor = 12second car. The car wasn't N/A, but was still under the cost of the Altima.
