The head stud holes on my block gave up several threads when I chased it (crap!

) and Im afraid that they will strip when I tq the bolts.
IF that happens I will be dumping $370 for the Timesert rethread kit (no helicoils for me, thanks - theyve pulled on me twice before on different apps). Anyone have experience with Timesert?

Anyway, since Id have to buy the entire tool kit (no locals do timesert) I would then offer it as a service for Honda blocks.
(Remember, thats IF they strip on me.)
You buy the inserts, send them, the block, and a check to me, I will do it and ship it back.
If not, I'll just be selling the tool kit
