at least hi-rev and ricer transformation have a tiny sprinkling of tech....if even the slightest.
That discovery channel thing had no-tech other than "we're ripping out the sohc and putting in a better dohc" and "turn the boost up and add n2o". Then they all goofed off for 30minutes. Oh and added stickers.

Sure hi-rev is full of morons that say "check out this awesome body kit and sick altezza tails"...but they did show those ricers how to put in that crap.
