The reason I think it's just tires is that the hubs feel fine (no play) and I'm not getting any kind of vibration, it's just noise.

Just out of curiosity, how hard is it do a VTEC conv.? From reading on here it sounds like you don't have to always drop a new engine in. I don't know which engine is in it now, which doens't help any.

I've been throwing things around in my head and I think that I'm going to get some slicks for the 14's and keep those a autox wheels and get some 15's or 16's with a V rated tire for the street to give me a better top end.
