Why is MTV on a pro-gay crusade?

I swear, this is really getting under my skin. I watch MTV from time to time when they are actually playing music videos, but I can't stand the fact that every 5 minutes there is an MTV news segment or a special report about how homosexuality is OK and how people that are against same-sex marriage are biggots, extreme conservatives and religous facists. It is really pissing me off because most people that watch MTV are young and impressionable, and MTV is telling them what is the right thing to believe. There is a show on right now and they did a poll:

22% of the nation supports same-sex marriages
55% of MTV viewers support same-sex marriages

Gee, wonder why. Could it possibly be that MTV constantly preaches that it is evil if you are against same-sex marriage? Don't misunderstand me, I have nothing against homosexuals; I do have something against homosexuality. I do not believe it is morally right, and think MTV is aiding in the spread of homosexuality. That said, I do have a few gay friends and I have nothing against them. I also do NOT believe that the government has the right to decide what marriage is, I think each church should decide that. The only thing the government should have to do with marriage is setting a standard for marriage benefits such as taxes, etc...

Basically MTV is really pissing me off by so obviously showing one side of the argument to be right and one side to be wrong... they are making it seem "cool" to support gay marriage and "not cool" to be against it...



Time to turn on Fox News (yes I know they aren't fair and balanced, but they are the closest thing out there...)
