no no...see jerking on it you run the risk of the car coming off the stands...and you wouldnt get it off anyways
run (not literally) down your local hardware store and get a pry/breaker bar...they serve lots of purposes...well worth theyre small price)  slide the end in there and pry...not jerk it around...easy. you'll be fine as long as ya dont move around like a maniac |
