cooking gets old... it might be because i usta work as a cook at a 5 star resturant. oh, i looked at what i've been making as quick meals, hamburgur helper is simple and feeds at least 2 ppl, theres this stuff called zaturans(sp?) and they make jumbaliya, red beans and rice, and all sorts of other rice meals, those taste great if you grill up some chicken or ground beef to mix in(and they are under a dollar per box and only need water to make) also feeds 2-3 ppl. so get you and a friend or 2 to each make a meal once or twice a week and that takes care of almost the whole week

if you wana get creative, i made this last week....

3 cups of yellow rice, a can of black beans(not baked) 3 pieces of grilled chicken with some spice mixture i made up(basically salt fresh ground black pepper oregino and a few other things i cant remeber atm)

boil the rice and once its about half done i mixed in the cut chicken and beans, i also threw in a little hot sauce.... its a real simple mexican rice mix. made it all for under a few dollars
