Do the 18s, it looks good. I have a 93 del sol with Matrix coil overs cranked all the way down, and 18" Enkeis, I love it. It rubs a little when turning real hard, and rubs when turning on a big incline, but it is not back, nothing bent and nothing hurt, just a little rub mark.

I say do what you want, but 18s look good on a del sol.
