i wasnt speaking in a way in which you had to justify your mods.....it was just my opinion.

anyway.....a 205/40-17 will handle good. but most 17's are heavy, which doesnt help in the way of performance.
so a 205/40-16 will handle just as good and weigh less (depending on the rim, of course).
or a 215/40-16 could be had as well - just depends on the offset of the wheel.

if your car is stock height - a 205 isnt going to sit under the fender. when you lower it, negative camber will come into play and it will tuck in - again, depending on offset.
