my cousin came over and we drove a block from my house by the high school to take some pictures and there was this cop sitting by the school I knew he would come after us and he did right in front of the school all these kids were staring and the cop didnt tell us why he pulled us over, he just kept going off about how my cousin could go to jail if he didnt have insurance (my cousin didnt have his proof with him) then he gave us a ticket for that and right before he left he said that he pulled us over because we rolled through the stop sign which is bull he's just an %$#@!

And my back is out too what a %$#@! Day

im beginning to wonder why you get so worked up over these things. You weren't driving so whats the problem? If you didn't run the stop sign show up in court and tell them so.

Oh, I didn't catch that you weren't driving. Don't worry about it then. I've been with so many people who were pulled over for different things.

He isnt necesarily mad because they got pulled over its that the cop had no legitament reason to do but to make them look bad in front of the kids and to try to discourage them from "customizing" cars. That cop is just an ass....go to court plead not guilty and get three months of "probationary" driving. Meaning: If you get in trouble with in 3 months then they make you pay full price on both and you ( or whoever) runs the risk of losing the license if the judge sees fit. t leasst thats what happened when the cop said i ran a stop sign and i pled not guilty.

I got a ticket for going 75 on the freeway at midnight. I was clearly going slower then traffic, and the speedlimit is 65 anyways. The cop said I looked like I was speeding, and I didn't use my turn signal when i mearged through a lane. WTF. Using the turn signal isn't a law. I asked him what he clocked me at and he stated that he didn't even clock me. WTF!!

here is what your cousin shoud do: go to court enter a not guilty plea, show that he was insured for the day when he got pulled over and he will be rescheduled for another date. most likely the cop won't show up and he will win the case

This is nothing compared to the CHP. I have something like 15 tickets for all kinds of stupid things such as car too loud, bald tires.. I even got pulled over and got a full inspection done on the side of the road. He told me my brakes didn't work, so I went home, and they worked fine. Also got a ticket for no registration (california license and AZ plates) so I didn't have to smog it. CHP is worthless.. when I am gov of Cali I am gonna do away with them. Have them clean rest stops or something..
