Hmm.... very interesting. In a recent article in something, the V6 is supposed to come with a 6 speed now though.

it looks like honda took the plans for the plymouth breeze and slapped their engineers silly til they put in on their concept.
then did the same with the MCBZ butt. |

They definetly stole the back of that from a benz, and the front
 is just horrible looking. Now it looks a damn domestic, wtf! And they fawked up the Si.......and the Eclipse.....and the rx8......, I think everryone needs to hire some new designers. So I guess the 90's will be remembered for great designs and the 00's will be remembered as the time when car designers started doing serious drugs. Oh well, as long as their are tegs, ludes, & other normal freaking cars out there, it'll be ok! |

I'd like to see the sedan. I don't like the 6th gen coupe that much anyways, so this isn't really any worse/better. The sedan could look good.
The newer Civics....  :No more Prelude.  I wanted to beat someone at the dealership when they told me that last year.b |

is it just me or the rear wheels have some serious camber problem ? and aren't the rear wheels closer to eachother than the front ones ?

Hmm... I looked at the pictures and thought "Audi, Mercedes" rather than domestic. I like it more than you guys, I guess. Definitely better than 6g IMO.

The front is terrible IMO..

yea, exactly my thoughts, wassup with honda now days..they going away from their style and making thier cars look more "domestic like", i mean change is good, but this change looks naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasty! lol..ah well, maybe i'll get used to it..when the i saw first pics of the new civics i hated it so much..but more and more..i'm starting to like to..who knows.

wqhy is everyone hating on the new civics ? i really dig the front end, and the car could use bigger wheels and bigger fenderwells. the only screw up on those is the rear end for the 4 dr and the part from the door to the wheel for the coupe. as for the accord even if you look sideways at it looks just like the sebring with the hard top.

sorry to bring this back but today i saw in my brother's room a picture of a 7th gen civic coupe (with the same angle) and they are very similar from the side. the whole thing might be a photochop. ohh well honda is gonna have it's press launch june 17th, and we'll see then 3 more days.

i think the rear looks like the type r they had in mind for europe. we'll see. i think C&D will have an article dedicated to it in the next issue. i kind of like the rear, but i did not get a chance to see the front that good

the front looks almost exactly like my civic. Which i don't see any resemblence to the Dodge Avengers, since the avengers had distinct curves and these are definatly more of a cut stlying. The newer Dodge Stratus maybe, but not avengers, I'm not liking the rear at all on the sedan, looks odd.
