So I went to buy new highlighters. There was packs of two highlighters for $2.19 or individual highlighters for $0.89. So I bought 4 individual high lighters.

Well, 2 pkgs of 2 highlighters is 4.38.

4 individual highlighters is 3.56.

So IMO you did the right thing.

About a yr ago, I remember I bought a 4 pack of 4-color pens for $4 where a 3 pack was $3.75.
Suddenly, one pen is $0.25?

But on topic, good looking out on the individuals. Theyre probably hoping people are lazy along with color-frenzied to want a multipack

It's 89 cents for a small size highliter here at the UC Davis bookstore...its the same price at the Asian-Indian owned used book store across from that UCD bookstore for a regular sized one............................................... .................................................. .......................I haven't used a highliter in ages
