I hope this post is in the right spot...

Has anyone ever purchased performance parts for their Honda/Acura from JEG's? I know it's a big name in the Mustang crowd or whatever, but just curious if they know their stuff with respect to Hondas and are reputable.

I know a few 350z folks that have bought from them with no problems. Jegs, however, isn't even close to the cheapest prices you'll find for import parts.

I've bought some stuff from them in the past. The prices are good but their customers service sucks out loud. They couldn't give me any answers to even the simplest questions. I hate big mail order companies like these (Summit can go fuck themselves, too) because they drive the REAL speed shops out of business by low-balling on everything.

I agree... they have it and will ship it for free... but other than that they suck.

I've ordered a bunch of things from them and they were all pretty smooth transactions... they also do have lots of the little stuff that other shops aren't going to carry and a LOT of manufacturers won't drop ship one item... Like gaskets or lines or filters etc...

For example when I needed a new donut gasket for my header I tried getting it from like 3 places including the dealer... and they all were a touch different from the one that shipped with the header... Summit had THE ONE that shipped with the header and it worked out great.

I shop around for just about everything else... spread the wealth... don't put the little guy out of business for sake of convenience.

true, i help my local shop here. they are after all doing my machine work on the h23vtec. which might i add is almost done!!

they just didnt have a few thing i wanted and cant get them.

I don't live that far from Jegs. I just go up to the store if I want to buy anything from them. Which I haven't done in about 10 years.
