anyone else notice how there always seems to be problems around 2.5 years? I know many people that have broken up at the same point, including myself...

no chick wants a touchy feely guy that just wants to sit around and talk about emotions and junk. I'm not saying treating women like shit is the way to go, but going to the complete other end of the spectrum is at most going to get you to "we're such great friends".
the fine line is: treat women like you pretty much don't care they exist and if you hook up with them you call the shots. and if you get bored pick up another chick or two, she'll forgive you at least once, maybe more if you're lucky. and GT/pdiggs thats just how chicks are, sure there's exceptions to the rule, but really are you looking to marry each girl you meet? |

When I hear people complain about 2.5 years or what have you. it always comes back to getting to know the person. If something keeps surprising you with your relationships, maybe you need to reavaluate how you engage in relationships.
I have never experienced what you're talking about, but maybe i'm more selective because its not from a lack of dating. My heart does go out to you though, its never nice to find out the person you're with is someone you don't want to be with anymore. Remember - it takes two.... I'll have to explain the situation another time, it's not fun to repeat the scene. BTW: it's not even the fact that there's lots to choose from, now that I'm single. I want one person, and one person only. The hard part? The person I want is not who he used to be...or what I thought he ever was.
