I hate my life
My parents are making me sell the civic (see Classifieds). and now im lost on to which car i want: it cant be new
it has to be 5 spd no crap like Saturn, Kia, Daewoo It cant be a honda or acura (they wont let me, as long as i am living under thier roof) It has to have aftermarket support, and last but not least it has to be under 12 grand any thought's?? p.s. it has to have 4 wheels!

that's messed up.. I'd suggest getting a DSM.. they have good aftermarket for them, and can be quite fast, especially the AWD ones..

Not feeling the celica. But both the 240sx and the DSMs came to mind.
And 12k is actually alot. Save a few more grand and you may be able to find a neon srt. |

Man...I know I'm going against the grain here...but I'm thinking Mustang. You could probably get a super clean, low mileage early '90s LX 5.0 5spd for around $7K-$8K and still have 4 or 5 grand to play with. Plus it's hard to ask for a bigger aftermarket.

no honda/acura do to driving record, 240 is out of the question, already asked, mustang: Gas!!!!
Focus: Maybe. they are making me sell the car, because mine isn't reliable with the mileage on it. i have to drive 140 miles a day, 70 both directions

i would say 240sx.they are sweet cars, and 12G's could do alot.

its not a job that i have to travel back and forth, it is school, i only have like 3 months, but thats 140 miles a day, 5 days a week, so my civic is out of the question.

well i test drove an svt focus, but i dont like the look of it cause it is an ugly hatch, uglier than the ep3, but i came across a a focus lx (4 door) for under 5k, and an svt focus motor for around 3, so that leaves me 3k for goodies!!! so i might just make a terrible car a good one!

Okay your parents wont let you get a honda because of your driving record? WTF difference is that going to make? Any car that will do the speed limit or over is going to be trouble for you.

i have a bad driving record. honda is at the top of the most stolen list in my area, add those 2 together, plus full coverage equals no way in hell an insurance company will give me coverage.

what about a tiburon gt, one of the new onws, yeah or no? it handles nicely, and F****** launched, i think i made the guy S*** himself during the testdrive. it was at the local Subaru dealership, and the cool thing about this dealer ship is that it is built with a long entry way, and no speed sign! so as i am leaving i drop the clutch and the guy has the happy/scared shitless look on his face! it was great.

i am going to go with the tiburon gt. i go back to the dealership tomorrow to make a pick up.
i will be paying a lot more than i wanted at 15k, but with the 6 speed, and 172 horses i think it is worth it.
