lips are not worth it.......
i recommend to anyone and everyone not buy a lip of any kind. i dont care what its made out of. never ever buy a lip. esp a 300 dollar CF lip. unless your car is a garage queen and only see shows. that is trailered to.
why well lets see. ONE: nothing should be that close to the ground that cost over 100 bucks. TWO: crappy street cuase crappy things to happen. THREE: its just one big waste, no matter how good your looks for the duration of the lips life. FOUR: pictures......    FIVE: removal of the big waste is not only hard. it makes you replace other expenvie parts.   this all took place on feb 8th of 2005. how? well one patch of ice, 4 inches of snow, and a 5 inch curb. i slide into the curb while turning at 15mph. i now lost the lip, bumper, and alingment. plus a possiblity of many other parts known as, CV joints, Axles, ect. cost well over 1500. thank god insurane will cover it, then cover themselve by raising my payments! or i can pay out the pocket. hmmmmmm tough decision. after all i mean its all my fualt. not like i hit another car or anything. but hey the city should pay for it they never plowed my street, right? no, my street isnt on the route of the trucks becuase its too new. NICE, so thats not your fualt why? god only knows and we all know he loves to put me debut. FAWKER! the rims are ok karen, just let me know when you want them.

 It was the OEM ABS plastic one.

that happens when you mod your only car. just get a $300 car to drive when it gets crappy. It saves a lot of trouble, just ask my new VW

well, it was in storage. till i move to far from work to walk. so now i was forced to drive it. the thing that pisses me off is that this is the last expect snow fall.

Ive killed 2 lips in the past (well honda dealership broke the second one...) and am now on my third. I take it off in the winter and whenever I need to go places that I know there are steep ramps. Granted, you didnt have the ability w/ the sicky stuff... Sorry man...thats a big hurt

i had the abs plastic lip on my accord and hit it a few times. minor scratches only, no cracks. *knock on wood*
on the other hand my brother got some stillen side skirts made out of polyurethane and we can bend the shit out of them and still go back to it's original shape.

Dude your driving yoru car with a $300 CF lip in the winter and there's snow...no wonder why it broke. I don't know many people around here in their right minds that would be driving in the winter time with a CF lip on their cars. Kind of common sense if you ask me.

And I bet you were worrying about that Mugen lip every second of your trip.
Gosei, they do have a urethane Type R lip, but not for Accords, only Tegs. I got mine for 130. Dude how low is your car? Look something like 1.75-2" to me. I got a 1.4 inch drop on my Teg, and my lip is doing just fine. |

^5 Arnel. I agree and nothing further. I plan on getting a CF lip but only have it on for show. Even if it was a gorgeous summer day, I still wouldn't drive around with my CF lip as a rock or something of the sort may bring damage. I don't think any of us mean to be dicks when we agree with him, it's just, well..I thought it'd be common sense.
However, sorry to hear about your "lost."

well im surprised you all failed to read the post on why i was driving my car in the first place. but its ok. i understand what your saying but it was not my choice to drive to it in the winter. i simply HAD to.
why: i moved so i had to move my car from my old house to my new one. well my perants house anyways.
