The Patriot Act...revisited
So one of the links Racing Rice posted in another thread lead me to this. If it's real, it's very VERY scary. Kiss your consitutional rights goodbye (moreso than under the existing Patriot Act which is, in itself, a complete sham)!

Man...it's not about laziness...it's about ignorance. Congressmen can't honestly read everything put before them. That would put them in a state of gridlock since few of them understand the language in which laws are written nor do they have the time to do so. They trust others to tell that what is good for us and what isn't. But every congressman's voting record is available to the public...online, no less. I have already emailed my congressman on matters of the first Patriot Act and the possibility of a second act and would urge others to do the same. FISA was enough. This is just perversion.
