This is soooo damn annoying, and maybe I'm not the only one who's noticed this. Every time I open my inbox I get all of these stupid bullshit spam ads that I figured would've been blocked by my filter...or at least highlighted. But no. Why, you ask? It's all shit like "buy v1agr@" or "make you c0ck bigger" or "get bigger t1ts" (how I get that one is a mystery to me...these are obviously the same people trying to sell me penis pills, they should know better). And they change the subject line every time along with the address it comes from so documenting all of it would take literally thousands of entries at this point. My question for these people would be, if you have to resort to this kind of bullshit because people have setup filters to keep your shit out, wouldn't bypassing those filters just piss them off more? It seems like simple logic. "No, I didn't want it before, but now that you've replaced certain letters with numbers and symbols I'm all for it!". What the hell are these people thinking?

Are you using anything...

Also google toolbar has good pop-up blocking.

well, the google toolbar will do nothing for your email, but i agree it is a decent popup blocker.

and a software firewall won't do nothing for webmail. but since webmail sucks balls anyway for advertisement, you just have to learn to block it out.

what's really annoying about these spam filters is you really have to carefully choose your subject line, or else it gets thrown into a bulk mail/trash/spam folder automatically. most of the time i just leave subject blank, and it usually gets through.
