We have a public server online, and available 24-7. Addict and I, welcome you to come join us in a game or two. We are currently still running BF 1.5 /DC .6. However, Addict will be upgrading the server once DC .7 is available. Here is the info...

They are suppose to be coming out with a new update today so that it will work properly with the new battlefield 1.6 patch. Its great fun, a lot better then the non-modded version on BF, IMO.

Oh yeah, I wont be on at 4:00.. Im still at work trying to restore some files on our SQL server. This is not fun.

Hrm... I guess you'll need a no-cd patch, and also I thought you needed a unique serial # to play online... maybe not though.

Can you play online right now w/o desert combat?


BTW RR, I dropped in for a round this afternoon and your server's great. I got my ass kicked, but that's what I was expecting

Yeah it seems to be running nice & smooth so far..

Just let us know if you have any requests. I may be upping it to 32 players here soon.

The hardware can handle it, but I'm a little leary on the bandwidth. A full load (28 players) uses 1.27Mbps Upload & 0.6Mbps down. The server sits on a 2Mb up/down line right now.

I had fun playing with you guys tonight. Only thing that made me mad (not your fault) is that Punk Buster kept timing out and booting me. Other than that its great.

I had the same problem! After about two hours I figured out why.. Something was causing my Punk Buster software not to update by itself. I tried opening UDP ports 24300-24350 per thier website, but that didnt work.

There is a file that you can run to manually upgrade PB. Download the file and copy it into your PB folder under BF 1942. Then run it. Its just a small executable that will go out and download the newer version.

Chris, Im not sure if it will work online or not. You could try it, but chances are you will get a CD key in use error. If you can get online and play the non-modded version you should be fine for DC too.

Glad you got to join us the other night 4thGen, we did have fun.. Now if we could only get some more HST members on there.

Thanks RR. My problem seemed random. I'd play for 45 minutes and be fine, then all of a sudden it would kick me. Said pb timeout error. I'm trying this program that you linked me to, but it gives me an error for the second file it tries to download, saying server not found.

Thats fine, it did the same thing for me. You shouldnt have any more problems. I havent since I ran that file. Mine was doing the same thing.. 30-45 mins, then it would kick me out.

Its around $30 still. If you look around you can probably find it on sale cheaper, or you can get the Deluxe pack with both expansion packs included for $50.

I agree, Ive never gotten so much enjoyment out of $40 in my life. No game has ever kept my attention this long, mods are awsome!

Speaking of mods. There is a new one out for BF. Its called Wasteland 2042. Its a Post-Apocolyptic mod similar to Mad Max. I downloaded it last night, I was literly laughing my butt off because I was having so much fun.

Its up, but at the moment its running the Wasteland 2042 mod. We have both DC and Wasteland in the rotation, for the time being anyhow.

If I install the wasteland also, will it just automatically load the correct mod when I connect to your server?

I believe that how it will work. I havent played on a server with seperate mods in rotation since its a new thing, but I couldnt imagine why it wouldnt.

Yeah it will load the correct mod.

As of now, its only WL2042. I'm hoping to get another server online within the next week. I'm also moving so that's taking up all my free time.

hey fellas I've been playing BF for awhile now and i just saw this thread. But my question is if you guys know of any DCpatch that works with a macintosh.
do you all play regular BF at all either?
