if you saw a random person getting beat up, made fun of, or getting robbed would you help that person or just walk way and ignore it?

There are other ways to help other than coming in and stand up for the person....... call the cops. I sure would have. I guess I'm just too old to be getting into a brawl....

well me and 3 of my friend were going to races last night. we drove threw the Loop were all the kids cuase koas downtown. we had to drive threw to get to the import meeting place. we saw 5 kids just ****ing around with a old man (40-50) who was just walking to the bus stop. he was sort of a bum i guess you can say. we notice and drove back around stopped and got out walked up to these hard asses who had to be 15-18. confronted them. of course they start crap with us, it didnt last long as my friend chewed the shit out of them. they wanted to fight and we just walked away. by then the old man was in Quick Trip were he couldnt be harrassed.

Thermal is right. I would help, but how depends on situation. If there are 5 peeps ready for trouble and I'm by myselt, I probably wouldn't jump in there and stop it, unless from some reason I felt like it. Which does happens sometimes. There is nothing wrong with telling someone to go get help or calling the police. All depends on your outlook. But sometimes if I know everything that is going on, and that person deserved it, I might look the other way.

Yeah, but think about this: One of those kids pulls a gun and kills you all. You didn't know that they weren't armed.

i helped out a guy once like that...he was seriously gettin whooped by a bunch of other guys...so I joined in to help him out

Just call the cops. Try to stay there if you can just to be the witness.

i personally dont care about the situation. i would jump even if i knew i was going to get my ass whopped to. at least i tried to help. if a kid pulled out a gun on me, i would stick him as he reached for it or as soon as he looked away for a second.

ever think if you stood around or walked away while calling the cops that the people being hard asses could kill the person your trying to help. you walked away now how do you feel or if you stood there your next. if he sees you.

I would try to help out I would say. Yeah it all depends on the situation but more than likely I would help. I don't worry too much about the whole gun getting pulled on you thing. I'm a tad jaded on that I guess since I live in a pretty wimpy part of the US.

but seriously if I ignored it and found out later that the victim was killed I'd feel like ass, unless of course they deserved it

Well im not a fighter but i do have a mouth and i would most likely say something or at least go get help.

btw this reminds me of bruce almighty just saw it the other day, remember when he helps the bum, he gets beat up and then later he does some wierd crap to the bullies.
