Spare tire???
Who keeps a spare tire in there trunk...I dont....just keep a can of Fix-a-Flat in the glove box.

I do! I keep the donut in the back of the 'ol CRX. I'm not so sure about this Mustang though....

Depends on the car and manufacturer, but sometimes they consider having the spare in the trunk an important crash safety feature.
Anyway, I have mine in, because it isn't going to do any good if I don't have it and need it, and because it isn't in the way of golf clubs. |

Well, you don't need to taking out of spare tire on yout trunk. However if the tire are blew off, and need to replace with spare tire. If you taking off the spare tire, then there is no way to put a replace the tire. That's why u might get stuck for long hrs w/o the spare tire. So, you need to keep them on the trunk.

no 'pizza cutter' for me, took it out whin i remounted my sub box in the recess of the trunk.

I have my spare tire.. Just dont carry any of the wrenches and lug keys. Im not to bright..:o
But I do have a cellphone and AAA..
