				 | I am no ladie but a simple hello, how are you doing? works very well. none of this hey or any of that other stuff. If you can talk to people you can talk to people if you cant, well your our of luck and need to find a nice friend to help you out and hook you up. |

				 | Definitely NO cheesy pickup lines! (at least if you're not trying to be serious) A guy would definitely have my attention if he started out by saying something funny! I love a guy with a sense of humor. But I agree with SofaKingSmooth (btw, nice name, hehe) "hi" and "how are you doing?" work just fine. Also asking what my name is good too. I don't like it when guys sound desperate or come on too strong. Pretty much, just be youself and see where it takes you from there!

				 | gotta go with the majority...Hi works well. Then she'll say hi back (and you'll be happy) and you'll say mine name is ______ what's yours? She'll reply with her name and you'll take it from there. You'll be able to tell from her body language and her answers (if they're extremely short) if she's into you or not. If she seems distant and doesn't wanna talk just say Cool well I'll catch ya later or something like that.

				 | also if you think they are quiet, don't automatically assume that they don't like you--they might be shy as well. asking questions about themselves helps them overcome their shyness a little bc they won't be as flustered (since they know about themselves. hehe.) |

				 | Whatever you do...Don't do that Pssst...Pssst! crap, ladies hate that Sh!t. It also depends on where you are...For example...If you're at church...you can tell her that the good Lord told you to go talk to her. That worked once for me...Then I married her. |

				 | Yeah hi or hello works well. And if she likes u she will let u know from the beginning. Most of the girls like guys who can be funny! So try to brake ice by being intelegent, smart and funny! And definately no cheesy pick up lines. most of the girls hate them. Than they will go home and tell about stupid guy with his stupid pick up lines. |

				 | typically i've meet girls through friends, so they break the ice for me. I'm a really out going person but lately i've been told i'm unapproachable and I really haven't done alot to change that. As for what can be said, it all depends on the situtation. A simple "hi" or "hello" dont tend to go over well around here. I'm not sure what it is but i'm sure alot of Toronto guys would say girls around here are a bit skidish. But you can always try them something. Or ask them a question like the time or how to get somewhere. If they are willing to help you they are nice and caring if they dont wanna help you say something like "thanks for provin I was wrong, you are a *****, cheers" Whatever you do dont front and dont put up with any shit in your convo. Life is to short to front and bs. |

				 | Here's what you gotta do.... Go "Pss Pss" then grab her, then ask her if she wants to get it on back at your place. That always works for the guys who try to pick me up. |

How about you stop all this bullshit that others say and just do what people have done for many, many years. No pick up lines, no grabbing her, no suttle bullshit hints. Just say "HI". If she wants to talk, she will talk, if not, get the picture and walk away. | |

"I seem to have lost my number, can i have yours"? but seriously, a hello, or maybe asking a question that is relevant to what she is doing, or asking for info is a way to break the ice |

				 | On this subject. I'd have to say you have to say hello. That's a given. You usually can't just come up & leap into conversation. For me personally, it's more impressive when a guy comes up & doesn't mention me or anything about but says "Hey, nice car, what all is done here? O ya? Who did it? O you did? Wow, impressive... what do you have planned?" I love conversations like that. Shows me that the guy is NOT just coming up cuz I appear to be another pretty girl, but b/c I appear to be an unusual pretty girl w/talents that few other girls have. |

				 | "Damn *****, you stupid fly. Why don't you let me pull up to that bumper and smack that monkey." "Jump in my low rider and let's rotate they tires!" Or you could just do what hasn't worked for me all these years, say nothing to them and then go home wondering what could have been if I had the balls to talk to them. b |

				 | Well see, this is were I need to be! This is my ticket, as Girl Racer said, talk about the car. Thats so easy for me because I LOVE cars, I will most likely be drooling over the car at first then them, then comes friendship/date, and thats pretty good. Problem with me is, I am shy, I have this fear of being rejected. I know the car can't smack me/tell me go away, piss off, etc. If I drool over it. So even I was friends... I'm shy... :( |
