JDM folding mirrors

I saw a DIY on installing JDM power folding mirrors the other day and want to find myself a set. has anyone seen these for sale?
to further explain, the actual housing for the mirror folds in when you push the button for it on the dash (the also require a replacement dash switch with the extra button on it)

if anyone knows anything more about these i'd love to hear it

there would be no point in having those really. i mean unless you park in tight spots everyday or drive down narrow roads there is no point in buying them. i would rather spend my money elsewhere

i totally agree with you that they are pointless, but it's a fun mod that no one really has... i suppose because it's pointless
but the flip flop trunk is pretty pointless, so are window decals.....
this is more of a form over function thing, i don't NEED to do anything to my car (except change the oil tomorrow) but i still do

so again if anyone knows a good place for finding JDM parts please let me know

i think all civic mirrors fold in, the ones i'm talking about are the japanese ones that have a built in motor and fold in remotely

I put jdm power folding mirrors on my 98 civic 4dr. I got them off of ebay but you can also get them from www.passwordjdm.com. I haven't wired them so they will fold when you push the button yet. But it doesn't seem so hard to hook up, it just basic wiring. They are cool and all but i don't think they were worth getting. Between getting them and painting them it was close to $300.

seriously buying these is REDICULOUS... you pay over 200 bucks for the mirrors... then you need to get them painted... THEN you deal with..

A. they are for RHD so the YOUR pass. mirror is now a normal mirror instead of a long shot mirror...

B. the japaneese lenses are fish-eyed.. making them even harder to use..

C. you look like a chump having paid 300 dollars for a MIRROR that was ALREADY ON YOUR CAR.

not trying to be a dick dude but seriously that is a WASTE of money...

yeah, those became a very low priority a long time ago.
now I'm just focusing on stuff that will actually increase the performance of my car.
I've got a b16 on the garage floor right now waiting to get put in and I'll probably do the suspension shortly after that

good choice...

nothing worse than spending a pretty good chunk of change only to regret it later....

yeah, with more and more rust forming on my poor ole 92 it's not worth doing anything to the body anyway. I'm just going to build it up and make it fun to drive... you can't see the car when you are driving it anyway
