I Finally went out and bought this game.I like it alot,I've been playing it online alot. my persona online is hsg0at13,if any of you wanna race.

I also reserved a copy of gt4.The guy at the store said its going to be online so thats cool.

300+ reserved already.

GT4 should've came out during the holidays. it would've made so much money...

True...but they're purposely releasing it near the release date of Forza Motorsport (Xbox'x flagship racing game) to completely wipe out the competition........it's too bad the plan won't work..since the Xbox is the sales leader of 04's holidays.

And Forza's physics are way more realistic if you're looking for realism in your driving game (which seems to be why the reason that people like gran tourismo, well one of them heh)

How many of you guys have actually beaten GT3? The game is so dam long...

As for NFSU2, a pretty good game, but the gfx needs a major polish because some of the roads are really hard to see the cars look "blocky" (polygon-wise).

Have any of you played the Street racing syndicate? That is a "realistic" game. I played it on PS2 Dont know if it is out on anything else....

Street Racing Indicate looked like NFSU.

SRS does look like NFSU. I havent played NFSU2 yet but then again, I'm not really a video game type of guy. I refuse to pay $200 for PS2 back then so i didnt get into GT3. But I did beat GT2 with my ol' PS1.

I have SRS and NFSU2. I got srs first and it was okay (i only wanted it because of the dyno tuning feature) but then once i got NFSU2 and realized it was all that and more i kinda regretted buying srs, although it does have some cool stuff.

I just got the network adaptor for the ps2 and my nfsu persona is JDMFantasy2K. Bring it on bitches.

Actually, we should make this the official NFSU2 online thread

not a bad idea.

I'm still playing the career mode to build my car up,i keep getting smoked online.its funny though,I got a civic with no body kit im going for a sleeper look.but people always make fun of my car and say "that civic looks gay,it dont even have a body kit on it" haha. JDMFantasy2k do you have a headset?if not you should try and pick one up,it's more fun when you can talk to the people your racing.

yeah i definately need to. even worse, people try chatting with me and i can only type at .78 wpm with the dualshock :o

my gem is definately the RX-8, and i'm 49%done and just got stage 3 everything

i've completed all the races on stage1 and stage2, now theres nothing for me to do.that girl said to goto the carlot to give her car back to her but i went there and nothing happened.

make sure your car's visual appearance is top notch. Same thing happened to me, i beat all the races on the map and then nothing. Turns out my car didn't have enough stars and once i threw on some ricer parts it unlocked like 3 dvd covers for me and then a shitload of races

yeah and i hate the way they talk. Seriously, who talks like that?i don't even know what half the words mean. I keep the civic as the ricer and my rx-8 and supra are done the way i'd do them if i owned them. I actually got complemented on my supra online the other night.
