512 megs of DDR ram
AMD XP 1600 (1.4ghz)

I still need to pick up the Hard Drives, and CD Drives and a floppy.

Ohhh I cant forget the Geforce 3 Ti 500

Im not really sure... have any sugestions. I got a server case so I was thinking of putting 3 80gig drives.

3 80 gig drives. holy cow !! what are you gonna serve for that server . i would go with some SCSI raid IBM's ATA 160. Size ? 100gigs

Naw, Its not gona be a server. This is actually going to be my game machine My old 450 k6-2 with 256 megs is gona be my new server.

I might just wait for the Geforce 4

if you are planning on having that many drives on your system continue to use the conventional eide connection and do not use RAID. raid will slow down gaming noticeably.
i just found this post digging around so it may be too late.

For the server or for my main PC?
My main PC is just running a Radion 64 DDR.
The server is running an old voodoo.
I am still waiting for the G4

You should have waited for the Geforce 4. It is only a little more expensive than the GF3TI500, and it rocks its a**.

for the gaming machine.
the server would be fine with raid.
if you want to put 3 ide hd's on your system i'd recommend getting a Promise ide card. gives you extra ide slots so you can have more than just a cd drive and the 3 hd's.
