the deal with european cars....
I dont get it whats the deal with the european cars? Does anyone know why they have the lug nuts backwards, instead of having wheel studs coming out of the hub they have the studs on the rotors, there fore making the wheel a pain in the ass to put on. Does anyone understand this????

i noticed that on german cars. all the other cars have normal
why all the japanese cars are imports and the european ones foreign ?

it seems like a pain in the ass to me, i did a flat repair on an audi with wheel spacers. To get the wheel on, first i had to align the spacer with the hub, then the wheel with the spacer. And everytime i tried to get the wheel on it would slip and i would have to start all over again

it took my buddy and i a while to put his rims on his audi when he got them...yeah it's a pain

I'm pretty sure it has MUCH better holding power...
think about it... the lug is the threaded hole on a stud type hub... On european ones the hub is the threaded hole... it's a LOT more sturdy... Most things that are on european cars is because they designed that way for a reason... If you line up the holes visually it's pretty easy to get them on straight... or you can put one of the lugs through the wheel hole and catch it on hub hole... Almost all the cars at my work have those style hubs.
