Best Digital camera for...
under 300 bucks?
does anyone know of really awesome cams?...i really would like one for when i get my car, so i can tak pics of it and put them on here, also just to have a damn camera! well, anywayz...help me out guys

I have the Olympus C730UZ and its really nice. Don't know what its priced at now, but probably around there.

Paul, are you talking about my camera? I just did a quick google, and it can be found in the mid $300 range for a few retailers.

Do you only want it for taking pictures of your car? Or do you want to use it to take to parties or whatever and snap quick shots? Or do you want to use it to take higher grade photos with more manual control to flex your artistic muscle?
In a nutshell, point-and-shoot or a bigger camera? Do you want CF or SD memory? Consider whether you'll have the opportunity to share cards among different devices. Just don't forget to check FatWallet for the latest deals on cameras. If you really want a smoking cam for <$300 you'll need something like FW to make a deal.....most of the cameras that I consider good are >$300 even with a FW deal, except for the occasional rare great price mistake deal....  I've got a S400 and I love it. Personally I don't like anything below 4 MP, but that's just me......good luck getting it near $300....there have been deals, but it's rare. b |

well, it's not 300 bucks..but close enough...it's the Kodak 5 MP EasyShare DX4530 Digital Camera.
I've heard good things about these cameras...i think this'll be the one for me oh, and spooge..the cam is mainly gonna be for partyin and cars on the side...and pretty ladies

the camera's msrp is 349.99, but i'm gonna get the camera and the easyshare dock both for 354(dock costs like 100 bucks by itself)...very very good deal. I'm saving about 100 bucks here.

i picked up the nikon coolpix 4300 last week......havent gotten it yet but from the reviews ive read, its a BADASS camera. especially for the price i paid
