If I had the money I'd buy you the base model just to piss you off...
You could get one pretty easy... they start at 14k for gods sake... you could put like 1k down and have low payments.

An EVO? You don't have to be rich to drive one of those. And if I was rich, I probably wouldn't be driving an evo. Cool car, but there are much nicer things out there.

Personally i think the EVOs look like ASS, i saw one in Germantown, the rich part of Memphis, and i absolutly hated it. In Pictures it dosent look bad but in real life it looks hideous.

I've wanted a lancer since I was 16 or 17 and now that they're hear I wouldn't get one if it were free... I sat at the mitsu section of the ny auto show for like half an hour just being like "JUST BRING IT HERE.... I'll BUY ONE IF YOU DO"... the guy was like... yea we've been getting a lot of input like that... it'll probobly be here in a few years... now that it is I wouldn't get one.... go figure... I do like it more than the sti though... I don't like how either of them look... I think it's some kinda secret law that if a car is affordable and fast it's gotta be ugly... the only nice looking awd turbo car that's even remotely affordable (when it came out) was the VR4... I like how those look... but all the others I think are butt ugly.

they are a nice performance car(well at least the rally spec japanise ones... havnt really looked into these yet) but for 28k i'd get something else
