16's on a 91?
Ok i was going to get 18's but my fiend has a gen 5 (94) hatch and 17's rub on hers with a 2" drop so i figure 18's are def. out of the question, i really don't want any rubbing. I am eventually gettin either a full coilover system (drop around 2-2 1/2") or a 2" drop with springs and i wanna know what 16's look like to be safe. Anyone got pics of a 91 with 16's or 17's. If 17's don't rub i'll go with 17's, anyone? Thanks

On an older civic like that 16's will do you fine.. Just pay attention to the backspacing. You could probably get 17 or even 18 under it with the right backspacing, But then you have a very heavy wheel slowing you down. 16's are perfect on the 4th Gen Civics.

That's what i was figuring. I was goin to get 18's then get 16's for the front for the track, but i thought about it and realized 16's would be aight by themselves and it would save me $ not getting the extra wheels. Just wanna see how they look. Thanks man

anytime man..
I personally thing 18's are just way to big for the 4th Gen civics, I think they look alittle funny because they look out of place..

16's are a good size to run with.....Indeed w/ the rigt backspacing 17/18's are possible but for the weight addition you are probably better w/ the 16 as you will also do better on gas..
hope this helps alittle....:: |
