intake

what's up hs people...well I got another one of my questions I have a 98dx hatchback...I want to put an intake cld air intake I mean but I'm looking under my hood but I'm not sure if I have to remove the entire box which is right by the engine above it if ur looking at it from the front...I looked 2 the side of it and it seems like I need to remove the whole box but I also see some plugs that connect to the actual black box any help would be appreaciated

Remove it all
The new arm should have bungs for the sensor that you'll swap in (it is the intake air temp sensor, btw (IAT))

i agree. if you got the correct intake system it should have all the configuration to replace the original setup.

You should have an IAT and a PCV vacuum source somewhere on the intake duct.

thanx for all the replies but mine doesn't look like that I don't have that silver tube above the engine its just a black box. I guess its cuz mine is dx

because when i look under the black box i see what it connects to and its basically a big hole so i imagine the intake starts there...i get that part and i thank you all for all your replies and pictures but i guess im just not understanding where the plugs go...mine has i think 2 plugs where the black box is electrical plugs not hoses and im pretty sure intakes dont come with that
