Doing It All...All Over Again..
im re doing my whole suspension again....cause i blew a coil over in the front and the other one..is just about done for too...the back ones seem fine though..but im going to re do it all..struts/shocks everything..i just dont know what to go right now..i do have two tokico struts in the front and monroe in the back..but im thinking of going either tokico HP all around or KYB or maybe even Dropzone...the coil overs i have no idea what to get...that or springs..but the coil overs are so much cheaper to buy.(at least on ebay) anyone got a good Combo in mind for this? i allrdy have brand new tie rod ends and control arms with ball joints pressed in...shes going to be rock solid when its done...

Are they just drop springs? I personally would stay away from any sleeves except GC. I'd be leery of DropZone springs and shocks but I've heard people say they are ok.

ya i would love to get something different too...i do have the tokico illumina (sp) 5 ways up front right now..but the guy says they MIGHT be gone...well i dunno what the warranty is on those...but if there covered ill just replace those with the same then...and if there not..ill just get a good set of coilovers/springs/whatever and leave everything..it just sucks no one sells anything in singles or just sets of twos...gota buy all 4....at least where ive been looking..

Yes, Neuspeed are good. Tokico Blues work, but they are basically stock replacements. Less aggressive valving and don't have longer travel which makes them more susceptible to blowing. They do work ok though, you just may have to replace them more often.

Just go with something simple and stick with what these fellows said and go with the GC Coilcovers. Honestly best in my opinion. |
