help on a rex
Hey everyone Im new to Hondas and im thinking about buying a 91 CRX 1.5, auto. the engine is shot and i was wandering about what engines i could swap in easily. also is it possible to drop a manual tranny into it?? any help would be much appreciated.

um most b-serise will bolt in with little extra effort. the grs and/or type-r motor i know has some firewall clearance issures, but it can fit. as far as manual... yes and its not that hard. i did it on a buddy's crx when he did his ZC swap, i cant imagine it being much different. we had a parts car and the ZC tranny to work with, then just winged it(well slightly more planned than that, but we had no idea what we were doing ahead of time) and it came out perfect. just remeber how you pull the old one and put the new one together that way.
and guys.. you know he's just copying and pasting questions other people asked on a different board. i'd guess he's trying to increase the amount of tech posts and decrease the bullshit ones. dont ruin this just cause its ben.
