I saw this about a month ago or so and almost ruined a perfectly good pair of pants (that can be taken several ways...your choice). I think when (and if) it's produced it'll come close to the original AC Cobra's 12 second 0-100-0 performance. It's sad to see Shelby leaving the performance racket. I haven't liked all of his cars (mostly his team-ups with Dodge...the Shelby Omni, Charger, Durango, etc.), but he's one of the original "tuners" and has created some of the best and most collectible cars ever built. Much respect.

That's pretty rare. If it's a side oiler in good shape those things will sell for close to $10K. I'd rather have a Boss 429 motor myself.

With a fart-can exhaust, a 5' tall wing, and lots of stickers, I'm sure I could beat it in a race!.....to tha junkyard.
That's one badass automobile. I'm also sad to see Shelby leave the market. b |

428SCJ's aren't too hard to come by...but by no means as plentiful as a 302 or 351. They went into everything from Mustangs to Torinos to luxury cars. They can still be made to run like raped apes though.

I have a friend that was building a replica cobra. He has a majority of the parts from chrome jag coilovers, and an Authentic 427. He's had it partially put together, but has never finished it. What a shame.
