Are this plugs O.K or is there something wrong w/engine?
I check the plugs after a while and this is what I found:
They are different to what I'm used to, generally they are brownish but this ones are a little like orange in color. What do you think, are they O.K, they are around 12000miles, they weren't worn since the gap was O.K. This is a 1990 LX Accord. Do you see any problem with this or are they O.K? |

Why could they get too hot? Is there some special reason for this? They are OEM plugs.

how many miles on the motor, and do you check your oil levels alot? because in the EF my plugs looked like that up untill premature combustion due to high heat and lack of oil.

that engine is running to hot (not enough fuel) change the fuel filter, and run some seafoam thru the fuel system.

I check oil regularly, level is O.K. The fuel filter was changed this year, not with a genuine one, could this be the problem? Car doesn't seem to be lacking power, it works fine, also mileage is what it is expected. BTW what is CP?

No, coolant level is O.K, I recently top it off, but it was missing very little, that was about 3 weeks ago and level is still O.K.
Also I've never seen the temp indicator going up. |

Do you have any intake or throttle body modifications that might cause it to run lean or rich?

As long as I know the only thing not OEM on the engine are the Plug Cables which are NGK. Throtle body and everything else is stock, maybe dirty but stock. Could it be dirty injectors? |
