Low profile tires
Im about to order wheel/tire package that come with low profile high performance tires (205/40/17) I was wondering if I would be able to go 130mph with these tires.
I can also upgrade to z-rated tires for 39.99 but is it really worth it? and will it handle better at higher speed? Thanks for any help guys. Please respond asap because I am planning to order the tires soon. |

it depends on what your goverend at even though I ended up getting z rated tires (didn't realize it till a few weeks ago) my car is goverend at 120 so even though my tires could probably handle it my car won't let it, as far as handling better it probably won't handle too differently or at least I havn't noticed too much if any difference

yea, but my car only went around 120, when i added the v2 intake and greddy catback exhaust, i boosted up to 130 easily, but I dont think my tires can handle them because they are crappy tires and are H rated which handles up to 130 mph

the low pro tires arent z-rated. The site says it comes with low pro tires with the size of 205/40/17. If I want to upgrade to z-rated tires it will be a charge of 40$. They dont tell me what tires rating is on the low profile ones. Im pretty sure its H-rated.
