Tein H Tech Springs
Hey everyone, i just got some Tein H Techs and was wondering if i could still use my stock shocks or if i should get some kyb or konis or something else. i know everyone and their mother have been asking bout this stuff but its only gonna drop an inch. Will my stock shocks blow out or just 2 be safe should i get some aftermarket ones?

be safe and get some aftermarket ones, even at stock height they're not gonna last forever so might as well replace them now. my suggestion would be bilsteins, kinda pricey though.

you can keep your stcks but unless they have alot of miles on them just keep them. Then once you need new shocks etc just get a set of Bilstein,Koni,KYB etc...

^which means start saving the money for the shocks, because when under a load, it all depends on how you drive your car. it last a day or a month (it all depends)

so i guess it would be about a 50/50 chance of blowing them out. the car has 56000 miles on it so im guessing i should just change them while im gonna be putting the springs on anyways.

I have 205 THOUSAND miles on my STOCK FROM THE FACTORY stuts/shocks...
Chances are yours are fine and will last for a LONG time even with the springs... they only drop the car like 2" at most right? If so then I def. wouldn't bother spending the money on the struts till you can afford the ones you want. Put on the springs with the stock struts and start saving for Koni yellows. It'll be a huge improvement over stock and it'll be money well spent... If you get AGX's or other not so good struts chances are you'll be disappointed.
