Trunk Popper for Civic 95-

Hey guys don't know if you guys know this or not, but if you get a trunk popper from a prelude/accord. It will directly fit into civics 95 and below and 96 and up with modification for the screw holes.. Then there is just 1 blue wire for the trigger output.

huh, I'm a little confused?!

I've got an Accord. My trunk release is a leaver that I pull on..
So even with my fancy setup, I'm unable to open my trunk with the remote. ::

I know there is some gadget I can fix that'll open it. But not really necessary for me.

on cars that you have to pull a lever to pop the trunk, you have to buy a motor (similar to ones for power locks) which will open the trunk latch without you manually pulling the lever. The part costs about $15. but dealers usually charge about $100 to install it.
just make sure that if you add this feature, and you plan on using it from your car alarms remote, that its set up so the trunk will only open if the alarm is off.

thats true, but the preludes and i thought it was the high end model accord had a trunk release, if you baught that piece it already would be grounded cause it was mounted to the trunk and it had a blue wire that come off of it that u could run to your alarm and give it 12v to pop the trunk....
