Advice on first car
I'm a huge fan of the RSX.. will most def. pick one of them up in the next few years once I get the cash. But I'm thinking about getting an Integra between 95-98, with a budget around 7kish or so. I was thinking about a 95/96 GS-R, any comments on that?
I don't really know a lot about cars, but trying to find a car I like best, so that within the next few months I can pick one up. Is the Integra a good first car..? Any other recommendations? I was also looking into Civics possibly or Eclipse's, I don't know. Thanks, Dan |

Well start off by listing what you want most. Like for me I dont care if i drive a beater...but I like to go fast, and look good last..and I made a big mistake..i bought an automatic.=\ But umm jsut list what you want from the car..and then go from there. Just my 2 cents...

Thanks for the advice so far.. Anyone have any recommendations for others cars I may like? I'm leaning more towards a 2 door coupe, and it should be at least a little sporty. Any more advice at all from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dan |

hey man either a eclipse or integra would be good. if u go for eclipse u gota get a GSX (all wheel drive trubo).. and theres plenty to do with those. or u could get a GSR or LS integra and do tons to them. i have a 94 and i love mine. i hada eclipse as my first car but i blew up it..

I would go with either a integra or an eclipse. Civics no offense to those who have them but it's too many of them.

my first car was a 97 Civic man... unless u got money to make it fast (for new motor) then dont get one, now i gots mah teg.... oh it's the bomb.. next car... 95+ Supra 2xTurbo ok so i'm dreaming right now... but DONT get an eclipse unless it's the turbo... or better yet, go hardcore and get the eagle talon turbo, eclipse is a girlie car unless it's turbo. BUT out of the 3 cars u want i can tell you (having driven all 3 for considerable amounts of time) that the INTEGRA is definitely uR best choice... GS-R or LS choice just depends on if u wanna turbo or go all motor

You can make DSMs faster for a lot less money and headache than a Honda. I LOVED my Integra, but if I had it do over again, I would have done a DSM.

i wouldent go with an eclipse unless you can afford the insurance on a turbo one, and an integra would beat a civic any day

I don't think the insurance will be any higher than a GSR tough. I wouldn't care about insurance because i just don't cause my parents pay it for me but i would get the car i really want regardless the small things.
