the WRX looks like a pretty good deal...just those painted headlights are sorta buggin me...In any case, it's an Impreza...so definitely go with that...Although a Fifth Gen Lude isn;t a bad idea either

I'll give another vote for the WRX. Just watch out for those brittle axles. I haven't a clue why you'd make an AWD turbo car with shitty drivetrain parts. But maybe they've fixed that.

yep, def the wrx. A friend of mine has one and lets me drive it all the time, and it handles anything i can throw at it. Everything about them is perfect.
oh and the drivetrain rumors, are just rumors. My friend talked to a subaru dealer who owns a highly modded sti, and he said as long as the car is relativley stock and isn't pushing insane ammounts of hosepower, that you don't have to worry about the axles/drivetrain, as i used to believe the same rumors. And i've dumped it at 6k rpm and it's still fine so i wouldn't go freaking out about it. oh and if not the wrx, then i'd suggest the civic si, i know they're not that great, but i think they're cool.

You should've stopped right there man. Lol. That's a second hand account of a guy who is paid by Subaru. This was actually covered in one of my classes on how companies take care of well known problems. Trust me, they're not rumors. But they've probably been fixed by now.
