'94 Accord rust spot
Alright,
so I know that a big problem with the 94 accords (which I am the proud owner of one) is that they tend to get the same rust spot in the side of the trunk. Now, my question is what is a decent price to have someone fix it, and fix it well? (This would include bondo-ing and painting so it looks all shiny and new again...) Has anyone had this done to theirs before? I'm thinking it might be better just to fix it myself with the estimates I've been getting...

The correct way isnt with bondo - The correct way is to cut out the cancer'd spot and replace it with new metal and painted.
Either way, correct or bondo, costs a lot, is very time consuming, and probably isnt something you should be attempting if you need to ask. |

those are common problems on most accords. the problem is that it rusts from the inside and you need to cut and replace the inner fender too, otherwise every winter the body work will need to be redone.

I've done body work before, and I have a really close friend who owns a body shop, so I'm sure he won't mind giving me a few tips... but I'm starting to really like this car and I deffinately want this to be done right. The only problem is the $$... but I suppose that's the way it is with everything....
