painting Dash?
I have l;ooked over the net and in the forums and I can't find info on how to make your dash look like it was glassed without actually glassing it. I was told that it just consists of more coats of primer and paint but then i was told that you don't need primer when painting the dash. Any ideas?

If I can get in touch w/a friend of mine I can find out what he used on his. I knwo it was a long process of apply a coat and sanding and another coat and so on...
For a finish like that w/out fiberglass it will be a little bit of time...Good luck to you w/ what you choose.. Also about the primer...When I have or anyone I know has done interior painting there is always scuffing, washing and priming. Priming is a key when doing interior painting or any painting for that matter. Hope this may help. |
