Clear headlights for 6th gen
I am about to order some clear headlights, but I was wondering if they can easily be installed by myself. I just installed aftermarket tail lights and they were extremely easy. Will headlights be easier or more difficult?

All in all, they should be easy. You might have to remove your bumper, but other than that, no big deal.

remove the bumper? That sounds a little drastic.
Can anybody post a helms diagram? |

You don't have to buy new headlights for your car if they are going to be the same design, but totally clear. You can take out the orange strip on the bottom of the headlights and then have clear headlights this will save you $200. Just search around the net for instructions, there might even be instructions somewhere in this group
You will have to remove the bumper to take out the headlights there is no other way to do it, the bumper is not very hard to remove just two bolts and some clips, i think ten on the coupe. |

that orange strip is removable??? I thought that it was colored glass. Are the headlights easily opened so that I can get to the strip. I know some headlights have to baked in an oven or some ish like that. Not quite sure I wanna put my headlights in an oven.
