I know this in the wrong section but the all motor part just didnt look to lively.... would it help to put on a set of adjustable cam gears on stock cams or am i beating a dead horse like that? Also i am gonna order the AEM tru power pulley kit but i think it only comes with the one pully.....think it would do anything?

people check all motor all tghe time, its just no one posts.... i think it should be moved, but i'll see what the OT mods think
you will gain some power if you dyno tune the cam gears on a basically stock motor the AEM pully kit comes with an alternator pully and a PS pully, well at least mine did. only problem is your electrical stuff(expecially if you have a upgraded sterio) will dim more your a/c wont blow as cold at a stop, and it can burn your alternator out. if you dont mind no PS, i'd pull the PS pump. you'll get the same or more free'ed up hp without the strain on your alternator

cam gears are good if you decide to throw the money on dyno tuning them. i think they are a bit lighter than the stock ones so you might see some from there, but don't hold your breath on gains if you don't do something else to the engine.

Mike, I think it would be a wast of money. Youll probly gain something like 5hp at the wheels (unless you add the stickers that come with them then we are talking 30-40). Save for N20. I ordered a kit for my car It is backordered so it will be a couple of weeks, but soon..... Aprantly my engine will handle 100 hp shots all day long, but ill be content with 75 at first Your Friend JJ Thanks Stefan Last edited by drdingo21 : 03-10-2004 at 10:51 PM. |

I went with summits NX kit. I was originally going to go with zex but since my car is electrically controlled throttle i could use what they are so famous for (nitrous comes on when you are at WOT)
