huge scare for me today
Well after putting alot of money into just fixing my pos car today i was driving down to the store and all of sudden CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK was coming out of my left side engine.....i was HOLLY SHIT....my heart pretty much skipped a few beats. I really dont want to spend any more money in fixing that thing. So i pulled over to check my cv joints (becuase i had troubles with them in the past) and all seemed to be okay. Also checked all the connections to the things that move. So i turned on the car and drove a little more and the noise only came when i was acceling. So i turned around and went to the nearest shop to ask for their opinion. The machanic drove with me for like 100 feet before he said "u shoudl be worried" agian i skipped a few beats. I was holly shit another 500 down the drain. So he was like turn around and we'll take a look....he pulls out the jack and i'm like hold on let me check one more thing. I bend over (no jokes plz) and with my hand i was able to tighten 3 of the 4 bolts that hold on my tire. I WAS HOLLY SHIT......so i immediatly tighted them and the machanic made sure they were all tightened with the airgun thingy. So i took it for a drive agian and no more noise... i was soo happy. must of forgot to tighen the bolts when i was changing my oil last weekend, i was in a hurry and i only hand lightened them.....damn.....what a releaf it wasn't anything serious. Yup my storey, sorry so long.

dont worry man your not the only one. I did that exact same thing, except I was on the highway when I noticed that. We're lucky the wheel didnt fall off. That would be interesting, running on rotors....
